  • (de) In Gold mit goldenen Zwillingsleisten belegter, erniedrigter, schwarzer Schräglinksbalken; oben zwei aufrechte abgewendete, unten durch ein Stück verbundene rot bewehrte, schwarze Bärentatzen, unten 8 (1:2:2:2:1) schräg links gestellte, runde ungeprägte, rote Münzen.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on ?

The bear claws are taken from the arms of the Counts of Hoya, to which the area historically belonged. The black bend symbolises the B6 road through the village. The lower half symbolises the hoard found in 1955 in the village. It consisted of 6300 medieval coins.
