Punaisessa kentässä kultainen lyhde, jonka päällikkeenä hopeinen orsivaaka. Lyhde maatalousseudun tunnuksena.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on September 15, 1955.

The arms show a garb or wheatsheaf, a symbol for the importance of agriculture in the municipality. The scales are the symbol of the Archangel St. Michael, the patron saint of the oldest church in the municipality (dating from 1366).
