Origin/meaning

The arms were nover officially granted.

The arms are derived from the only known seal of the village, which probably dates from the 17th century. The oldest existing copy of the seal dates from 1734. The seal showed a village symbol of unknown meaning and origin as well as two eight-pointed stars.
