Im Wellenschnitt geteilt Blau und Silber; oben ein sechsstrahliger goldener Stern, unten ein fliegender blauer Vogel mit einem roten Span im Schnabel.
Origin/meaning
The star is the symbol of St. Mary and refers to the local Maria Stern church. According to legend a bird with a bloody stick appeared during the building of the present church. This strange phenomenon is shown in the base of the arms. The division line refers to the Simssee lake.
