Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on July 6, 1964.

The coat of arms attempts to illustrate a legend: A painting of Our Lady (fleur-de-lis) was found in the woods. The old name of the Gnadenbild is "Maria zu den drei Fichten" (St Mary of the Three Firs).
