REINBEK
State : Schleswig-Holstein
District (Kreis) : Stormarn
Additions : 1974 Schönningstedt
Official blazon
In Rot ein silberner Wellenbalken, begleitet von drei im Dreipaß mit den Stielen einander zugekehrten Eichenblättern, und zwar zwei oben und einem unten.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on August 22, 1935.
The arms show three oak leaves, derived from the arms of the Von Bismarck family. The local castle Friedrichsruh and the surrounding forests were granted in 1871 to Chancellor Otto von Bismarck. The wavy bar is a canting element, Bek means stream or brook.
