Garrison 1914: disbanded ?
Raised : 1900 as Part of the German East Asian Expeditionary Corps that was sent as part of the International Force to put down the Boxer Rebellion in China.

Origin/meaning
The Regiment was recruited from all parts of the Germany hence the use of the Black-White-Red Colours of the Empire and the use of the Imperial Arms instead of the Prussian Eagle.
