Official blazon
English Chief per fess barry wavy of four blue and white base blue a fish hook of four flukes in pale pendant from a cable all gold.

Motto: Nec pluribus impar

Origin/meaning

A Sperm Whale belonging to the family Physeteride. The badge is a pun on the Name. The badge was approved in 1959, replacing a similar Badge approved from 1936. In the Earlier Badge the Fish Hook was "a grapnel of four flukes in pale pendant from a cable all gold".
