2ND MUNITIONS SQUADRON, US AIR FORCE
History: Constituted as 2 Aviation Field Depot Squadron on 2 Nov 1950. Activated on 16 Nov 1950. Redesignated as: 2 Aviation Depot Squadron on 8 Nov 1954; 2 Munitions Maintenance Squadron on 1 Jul 1960. Discontinued, and inactivated, on 30 Apr 1965. Activated on 1 Oct 1972. Inactivated on 30 Apr 1992. Redesignated as 2 Munitions Squadron on 24 Feb 1994. Activated on 28 Feb 1994.
