In silbernem Schild aug grünem Boden ein zwischenw zwei grünen Baumgruppen nach schrägrechts fließender silberner Fluß, vor dem links ein aufgerichteter und rotbezungter schwarzer Bär steht. Auf dem Schild ruht eine rote dreitürmige Mauerkrone, deren mittlerer Turm mit dem Berliner Wappenschild belegt ist. |

Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted in 1876 and granted on March 23, 1993 for the new district (with the typical crown of the Berlin districts)
The oldest seal of Treptow dates from the 19th century and shows a bear between some trees. In 1876 the above arms were adopted, which were based on the old seal. The bear is the bear from Berlin , the silver bend the Landwehrkanal channel and the trees symbolise the name Treptow, which supposedly means a forest.
The desiogn thus never changed from the village of Treptow
