SAINT-SERNIN-DU-BOIS
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on May 21, 1990.
The arms show the 14th century tower, which served as a shelter during the Hundred Years War. The cross symbolizes the fortified priory in the village.
The azure and the silver refer to the hydro-electric dam and the (artificial) lakes on which banks the village is situated.
