These arms are those of the Arnauld d'Andilly family, famous for their participation in the Jansenist movement in the 17<sup>th</sup> century. The Arnauld family acquired the estate of Andilly in the middle during the 16<sup>th</sup> century and held the estate until 1792 . Before that the lords where from the Fromont Family from 1426 to the end of the 15<sup>th</sup> century. Les Le Prevost inherited the estate from 1500 and sold the last parts to the Arnauld family in 1626.
