State : Bayern
District (Kreis) : Aschaffenburg
Additions : 1972 Huckelheim, Oberwestern, Unterwestern
Origin/meaningThe arms were officially granted on March 24, 1980. The lion in the arms as well as the colours are derived from the arms of the Counts of Schönborn, who ruled the area until the late 18th century. The lion holds a shephard's crook (German Hirtenschippe), the symbol for St. Wendolin, the local patron saint. The miner's tools symbolise the former silver and copper mining in the village of Huckelheim. Contact and SupportPartners: Your logo here ?
