В лазоревом поле серебряный идущий полярный медведь, сопровожденный во главе развевающейся лентой, без числа рассеченной на нитевидные части - золотые и в цвет поля, и в верхнем правом углу - серебряной звездой о двух длинных продольных и двух коротких поперечных (сообразно щиту) лучах.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on November 5, 2009.
The arms show a polar bear, the Pole Star and the Aurora Borealis, all indicating the location of the village far above the Arctic circle. The main blue colour refers to the importance of water for transport and development of the village.
