Arms of Midsund

På blå grunn to sølv trekantar, den nedste vend nedover.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on May 15, 1987.

The arms show two triangles, representing Otrøya and Midøya islands. These two main islands in the municipality are separated by a small strait, the Midsund. The geographical situation is symbolised in the arms.
