PLESNOIS

Département : Moselle

Armoiries de Plesnois

Official blazon

D'azur à deux bars adossés d'or accompagnés de quatre rose du même pointées de sinople.

Origin/meaning

The two salmon are derived from the arms of the Duchy of Bar, to which the village historically belonged. The roses are taken from the arms of the Saint Pierremont Abbey, which held the estate of Plesnois until the French Revolution.
