BANNAY

Département : Moselle

Armoiries de Bannay (Moselle)

Official blason

De gueules à trois chevrons d’argent, au rencontre de cerf crucifère d’or brochant sur le tout.

Origin/meaning

The chevrons are taken from the arms of the Raville estate, to which the village historically belonged. The deer head is the symbol of St. Hubert, the local patron saint.
