ÉPINAY-SOUS-SÉNART

Département : Essonne

Blason de Épinay-sous-Sénart
Official blazon
French

D'azur au chevronel ondé haussé d'argent soutenu d'une crosse d'or et d'une quenouille du même passées en sautoir.

English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The wavy chevron evokes the curve of the Yerres river in the municipality. The crosier and the distaff recall the Abbey of Sainte Geneviève du Mont, to which the village historically belonged.
