Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on February 18, 1959.
The arms are based on a seal from the local governor Dangelmaier from 1773. The lion is most likely the lion from the County of Rechberg to which the village belonged. The origin of the stars is not known. The colours are taken from the Rechberg arms.
