WÄNGLE
State : Tirol
District : Reutte
German | blazon wanted ! |
English |
The arms were granted on July 27, 1976.
The arms show the local patron saint, St. Martin of Tours, cutting his cloak for a beggar. Contrary to the normal composition, there is no beggar visible in the arms of Wängle. Wämgle was the religious centre of the Aschau region for a long time and the local church thus was of great importance for the area.
