Origin/meaningThe arms were granted on September 21, 1936. The city of Herbede was formed in 1926 from the four municipalities of the Amt Herbede. Nor the Amt or the municipalities used arms, and no historical seals were known. Therefore the arms were newly designed and based on the arms of the (extinct) Von Elverfeldt family. This family lived for many centuries in the local castle. Contact and SupportPartners: Your logo here ?
