In Schwarz ein goldender Balken, belegt mit roter Pilgermuschel.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on September 14, 1967.
The arms are based on a seal from 1774 from the local council, which showed a bar. The colours were already mentioned by Hozier in 1697. The scallop is the symbol of St. James, the local patron saint.
