Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on February 20, 1984.

The dragon is taken from the name of the mountain behind the village, the Drachenwand (dragon-wall 1169 m.). The dragon holds the symbol of the patron saint, St. Laurentius (St. Lorenz in German).
