Hopeisessa kentässä musta havupuun kanto, josta punaiset kultasydämiset liekit nousevat ylös ja sivuille.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on May 30, 1950.
The burning pine stump alludes to slash burning during the time when these areas were first cultivated.
In 1946 a first proposal for arms was made, showing a cross and a wheatear. These were not adopted.
