Arms : Per pale azure and argent, on a fesse counterchanged between in dexter chief and base an open book proper, garnished Or, and in sinister chief and base a pair of compasses of the first, a like pair of compasses and book.
Crest: On a wreath of the colours, A surveyor's level and tripod Or.
Motto: Via media exempli gratia.
