On an ogress a Lancaster rose fimbirated argent.
Motto: Nocturna mors.
Origin/meaning
The Rose symbolises the Lancaster Aircraft used. The Orgress symbolises Operations at Night and the fimbriation the Day Operations. The Motto translates as ”Death by night”. The Badge was approved in March 1945.
