NO 788 SQUADRON, FAA

History: First foremd in 1942 st Royal Naval Air Station Trincomalee (HMS Bambara), Ceylon (Sri Lanka). When Japanese Aircraft destroyed the Squadron. It was reformed at Tanga, Kenya in May 1942 as a Fleet Requirements Unit, disbanding in 1945.

English Blue; over water in base barry wavy of four white and blue two flashes of lightning in slatire white surmounted by a target proper pierced in the boll by and arrow gold flighted white.

Motto: Tayari saa yote
