Denomination : Lutheran

Coat of arms (crest) of Evangelical Lutheran Mission Diocese of Finland

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The coat of arms depicts on a golden field a red chalice with an octagon-shaped thickening in the stand and the cup charged with a golden roundel charged with a cross pattée. The chalice can be seen as a communion cup with a golden sacramental bread with a cross on its side, or a baptismal font.
