History: Formed at Halton on 7 March 1935 as the Pathological Laboratory.
A fleam gules and a sun in splendour Or. Motto: Nil nisi veritas |
Origin/meaning
The Fleam symbolises Surgery and Medicine. The Sun indicates the Tropics and Learning. The Motto translates as "Nothing but the truth". The Badge was approved in June 1963.
