Heraldry of the World Civic heraldry of France - Armorial de France |
COULLEMONT
Département : Pas-de-Calais
Origin/meaning
The arms are based on the arms of the Chivot family, Lords of Coullemont. The estate and village of Coullemont was acquired in 1690 by Antoine Chivot, Lord of Orville and the family owned the estate for the next century.
These arms were proposed in 1994 and I have no information whether the municipality actually adopted the proposal.
