Origin/meaning
The arms show, in green tone, representing hope, the rod of St. Joseph topped by a lily, symbol of purity. The golden background expresses the call that God addressed to Saint Joseph. The other half shows, in white, representing purity, the star, the crown and the anagram of Mary, Marian symbols.
The whole of the Cross and the Marian and Josephine symbols refer to the Holy Family, model of every human family. The year of the shield summarizes the orientation of the Christian life, which is proclaimed at the Easter Vigil: confess Jesus as a light of the world.
