Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on June 23, 1971.

The arms are based on an image of village arms from the 16th century. The arms are canting, the silver bend refers to the Main river, the tree trunk (Stock) refers to the second part of the name.

The silver and green also indicate the agricultural character of the village and the meadows along the Main. The red and silver are the colours of the Franken region.
