Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on January 29, 2002.

The bend symbolises the Champagne region, in which the village is situated. The crosier refers to the former abbey in the town and also refers to Saint Loup, the local patron saint. The chief refers to agriculture and the waters in the municipality.
