Origin/meaning
The arms were designed and granted in 1903.
The arms refer to the hunting lodge of Count Heinrich von Fürstenberg, built in 1471 in the village. The arms thus show hunting items within the bordure of the arms of the Counts (later Princes) of Fürstenberg.
The only known seal dates from the middle of the 19th century and shows a garb, scythe and plough as symbols for agriculture.
