Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted in December 2020.
The swallow refers to the military airfield which, given back to civilian use, is used by the members of a cycling club. The rooster is a symbol for Saint Peter, patron saint of the church.
The towers, which recall the castle of Orgeville built around 1580 near Dreuve, represent the arms of Neufchâteau, the village being formerly in the bailiwick of the city.
The gold, the silver and the gules underline that the village is in the Lorraine region.
