Origin/meaning
The arms were designed and adopted in 1898.
The arms combine elements from the arms of the two oldest known families to which the village belonged; the bend is taken from the arms of the Lords von Randegg (until 1483), the antler is taken from the arms of the Lords von Landau (1483-1529). After 1529 the village belonged to the Principality of Fürstenberg until 1810.
