Origin/meaningThe arms were granted in 1988. The three diamonds are derived from the medieval Lords of Gebhardshain, who had several possessions in the area. The water mill wheel symbolises the local mill, which was of importance for the local development. The juniper branch symbolises the local distillery, founded in 1897.
