History: Formed July 31, 1947, disbanded December 1, 1951. Reformed October 23, 1956 and again disbanded January 21, 1953. The Unit was again reformed March 1, 1971.
Official blazon
Badge: In front of two cutlasses argent hilted gules guarded Or in saltire points upwards a mortar board sable.
Motto: Panache et precision = Panache and precision.
Origin/meaning
