In Gold der heilige Michael mit silbernen Flügeln und blauer Rüstung, mit dem rechten Fuß auf einem am Boden liegenden grünen Drachen (Lindwurm) stehend, in der Rechten ein silbernes Flammenschwert mit goldenem Griff, in der Linken eine goldene Waage.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on December 24, 1845.
The arms show St. Michael, the patron saint of the village. The saint appeared for the first time on the local seal dating from 1769. Previously the village seal showed a St. Andrew's cross with two stars, the origin therof is not known.
