I fält av silver en nedtill av en vågskura avgränsad, genomgående och med port försedd mur, från vilken en kyrka uppskjuter, i stammen åtföljd av en fisk, allt i rött.
Origin/meaning
The Arms was officialy granted in 1938 and are based on the naturalistic Seal from the Letter Granting City Rights to Åmål in 1643.
