Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on ??-??-1927.

The two keys are the symbol of St. Peter, the local patron saint of the Renningen Parish. The keys already appear in the 18th century seals of the village. The letter R is the initial of the village and was historically used as a village symbol.
