Selected collector's items from Germany:

GROSS REKEN

State : Nordrhein-Westfalen
District (Kreis) : Borken
Incorporated into : 1974 Reken

Wappen von Groß Reken

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted in 1965.

The lower part shows part of the church in Reken, with the typical architecture. The holly branch is a symbol for the woods in the area and is also canting for the village of Hülsten (holly = Hüls in the local dialect, hulst in Dutch, Stechpalme in German).
