WALHEIM

State : Baden-Württemberg
District (Kreis) : Ludwigsburg

Wappen von Walheim (Baden-Württemberg)

Official blazon

In Gold auf einem roten Schräglinksbalken der goldene Großbuchstabe W.

Origin/meaning

Walheim was a possession of the Counts of Baden until 1595. The oldest seal dates from 1530 and shows the bend of Baden. The present arms, granted in 1939, show the arms ofBaden, although with the bend in the wrong direction, and the letter W as the town's initial.
