"Gegolfd van rood en goud van acht stukken. "

II : 14 maart 1941

"Golvend gedwarsbalkt van goud en keel van 8 stukken; een barensteel van zilver over de beide bovenste dwarsbalken heengaande. Het schild gedekt met een gouden kroon van 3 bladeren en 2 parels"

Oorsprong/verklaring :
Afgeleid van het op 30 september 1818 verleende heerlijkheidswapen, waarin de barensteel en de kroon ontbraken. De gemeente werd volgens het register snel weer opgeheven. Het wapen kwam daarbij te vervallen. De gemeente is later hersteld, maar heeft geen nieuw wapen aangevraagd. Pas in 1941 werd het wapen, dit keer identiek aan het heerlijkheidswapen, opnieuw verleend.
