Het volgende dorpswapen is bekend :
" Van sabel, beladen met een zwaan van zilver, gebekt en gepoot van goud, staande op een grond van sinopel. Het schild gedekt met een gouden kroon van drie bladeren en twee parels."

Oorsprong/verklaring :
Het wapen is al bekend uit de 16e-17e eeuw. Het komt oa voor op de dorpsklok van 1649 en een gevelsteen uit 1597. De uitvoering van de zwaan wisselt overigens. De oorsprong van het wapen is verder niet bekend.
