Origin/meaning:
The red lion is taken from the arms of the medieval Lords of Aesch und Hochdorf, who ruled the village in medieval times. The trefoil is the symbol of the Amt Hochdorf to which the village belongs.

In the Kaffee Hag albums, different arms for Aesch appear, see below. I have no information on the meaning of those arms.
