Additions : 1970 Fors, Ragunda (landskommun), Stugun

Origin/meaning:
The arms were officially granted on January 10, 1958 (to Fors)

The wavy bends and the two bolts of lightning refer to the Indalsälv river and the hydro-electric plant in the river. The tree refers to the local forests and forestery. The arms were granted to Fors, but continued by the new Ragunda municipality in 1970.
