LESSEBO

Origin/meaning :
The arms were devised and granted in 1979. The upper part shows two glass blowing pipes, which are taken from the old arms of Hovmantorp and shich symbolise the glass industry in the municipality.
The lower part shows a beehive, which is derived from the symbol of the local paper industry. The symbol was first used in 1808.
