TOPOLA

State : Serbia

Origin/meaning:
Topola is the home-place and burial ground of the Serbian Royal House, therefore the Crown is placed upon purple field bordered ermine (an allusion to the Coronation Mantle). The two silver eagles (derived from the white eagle of Serbia) bear small shields, that are charged with arms of Serbia and Shumadia Iregion of the country. The latter shows a boar's head as a symbol for the woods (the name means "Woodland")

The banners are the flag of Serbia and of the city (with the Royal arms).
