Civic Heraldry of Ukraine УкраїнськаГеральдика RIVNE Origin/meaning: I have no information on the origin or meaning of these arms. Any information is welcome ! The previous arms of the city were designed and granted on January 22, 1796. In 1857 B. Kene designed new arms for the city, with the same symbolism, but now with the provincial arms of Volynska province in the first quarter. The arms were not adopted.
